The Sunday Times Oxford International Literary Festival

The Sunday Times Oxford Literary Festival is held every spring in historic buildings throughout the city. The festival has become one of the most distinguished and prestigious literary and cultural gatherings in the world, with more than 550 speakers appearing each year over the course of 9 days.

The festival will use the prestige of Oxford World Book Capital 2014 to become the Sunday Times Oxford International Literary Festival, inviting great authors, statesmen and celebrities from around the world to read and discuss their work. It will continue as an international festival as a lasting legacy of the year.
